2010 Show

For the past two decades, the culture of hip hop has grown exponentially, becoming a global force. It is a culture that thrives on being recognized and seen through various forms of art such as music and dance. Youth today are growing with the evolution of hip hop, and the industry has shown enormous growth with the widespread coverage of hip hop dancers on hit TV shows such as "America's Best Dance Crew" and "So You Think You Can Dance".

Nu-Lite Entertainment and Fuel Productions have come together to honour and celebrate the growing hip hop dance industry by hosting a global competition in Toronto, Canada, called The Beat Down Hip Hop Dance Competition.

The first annual Beat Down was a success. It raised the bar for this year's competition. With over 45 registrations received for this year’s show and so many great teams to choose from, we are pleased to announced this year’s competition will feature 12 of your best dance crews from across Canada.

With special performances by Kaba Modern of ABCD (Season 1), Timothy Delaghetto (a.k.a. Traphik), JReyez, and many more, the Beat Down 2010 will be a great show you don’t want to miss.
